The Young and the Restless knows how to bring the drama and June 2-6 was no exception. From breaking points to underhanded deals to a shocking mystery, things reached scorching levels in Genoa City.
Sally Stood Her Ground…
On Wednesday, Billy (Jason Thompson) dropped a bomb on Sally (Courtney Hope) when he revealed he’d been invited to Dumas’s exclusive gathering and saw it as a prime chance to expose the mogul’s true agenda..and maybe take Victor down in the process. Sally was not having it. She called his idea to delay their company launch outrageous, reminding him she risked everything for this business. But Billy, deep in conspiracy mode, insisted that there was something sinister brewing and they needed to get ahead of it. He even suggested dragging Sally to France to kill two birds with one stone. Is she finally starting to see that Billy’s obsession with besting Victor will end up torpedoing their whole love story? Sally’s clearly reaching her breaking point with her newest flame and we can’t wait to see if the fire continues to burn or extinguishes completely.
How About That Prenup?!
Oh, Victor, Victor, Victor, we love the games you play. All Kyle (Michael Mealor) wants is to build a life with Claire (Hayley Erin) and all you want is to destroy his life. While we can admit the idea of a prenup is good – great, actually – we can’t get over the conditions. Don’t you have enough money? Why do you need 5 million more? Isn’t that basically pocket change in the Newman world? And, to force Kyle out of town? That’s bad. However, working with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) to set him up for failure? Diabolical. Victor (Eric Braeden) is a master manipulator and Thursdays episode proved he’s only getting tougher and more sinister by the day.
One Drunken Night
We finally got a hint at what happened on Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) business trip on Friday. After talking to Sharon (Sharon Case), she went to the park for a moment to sit and reflect. While we still don’t know much, but we do know she didn’t have an affair – and know she downed a bunch of martinis and a white haired older gentleman stopped by her table to ask if she needed a friend. Did something happen between Mariah and this fella? Something sinister? Something deranged? Something like murder? We’re on the edge of our seats waiting for the rest of the story.
