First it was Billy Flynn (Cane) and now Days of Our Lives’ loss is once again The Young and the Restless’ gain… People has learned that two-time Daytime Emmy Award winner Tamara Braun has landed a role on the CBS soap. Viewers can expect to see the vet this fall playing a new character named Sienna Bacall.
So, who will Sienna be interacting with? It’s hard to say right now as details are being kept hush hush but the outlet did reveal that she’ll have “personal connections to several characters.” Braun last appeared on the Salem soap as Ava this past April and will begin taping for her new Genoa City role at the CBS Studios next week.
For those who aren’t familiar with the actress, Braun landed her first daytime role in 2001 as Carly on General Hospital then went on to play Reese on All My Children in 2008, making history by being one-half, along with Bianca, of the first lesbian couple to marry on a soap. That same year, she played the role of Ava on Days of Our Lives before heading back to the Port Charles soap in 2017 to appear as Dr. Kim Nero.
So, fans, it’s going to be very exciting having the daytime vet join the cast of Young & Restless and we can’t wait to see how Braun’s Sienna fits into the mix as well.
