No need to spend money to fix

If your washing machine is making loud, annoying noises, there are simple solutions that anyone can apply without the need for a technician. Here’s how to fix it yourself:

1. Unbalanced Washing Machine Placement

If the washing machine isn’t placed on a level surface, the drum can tilt during operation, causing it to collide with the machine’s shell and create noise.

2. Foreign Objects Inside the Washing Machine

People often forget to check pockets before washing clothes, leaving behind keys, coins, or other items. These foreign objects can collide with the washing drum and cause overheating during the spin cycle.

To avoid this, always check your shirt and pants pockets for forgotten items before washing. If you find too many accessories, separate them and wash them with regular clothes or by hand.

3. Overloading the Washing Machine

Putting too many clothes in the machine beyond its capacity will overload the device, causing an imbalance during operation. This not only damages the washing machine and shortens its lifespan but also prevents proper cleaning.

Solution: Only fill the machine with enough laundry to occupy about two-thirds of the washing drum.

4. Other Possible Issues

Twisted Clothes: Clothes bunched together and pulled at an angle can create imbalance, causing the washing drum to hit the machine’s shell, resulting in noise and vibrations.

Loose or Worn Belt: Over time, the machine’s belt can become loose and stretched, leading to unusual noises and a decrease in the machine’s efficiency. Simply replace the worn belt with a genuine replacement part specific to your machine model.

Stretched Washing Drum Hangers: The washing drum hangers, used in vertical and horizontal machines, act as shock absorbers. If one of the four hangers is damaged, the drum may tilt to one side, causing it to rub against the machine and produce a rattling sound during high-speed spins.

If you’ve checked and fixed the above issues but the washing machine is still making noise, it may be due to a more serious technical problem. In this case, contact a service center for appropriate assistance.
